1. Scope and Acceptance
This Privacy Policy applies to oakriverlending.com (the "Site") and the services Oak River Lending LLC provides through it (the "Services"). By using the Site or Services, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or Services.
Oak River Lending LLC is a Wyoming limited liability company. We are a capital placement firm. We are not a bank, lender, or depository institution. Loans are originated by third-party lenders in our network, each with their own privacy practices.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of personal information:
Information you provide directly. When you complete the pre-qualify form, a contact form, or otherwise interact with us, we collect identifiers and information such as your name, email address, phone number, business name, business legal structure, industry, state, time in business, annual revenue range, requested loan amount, loan purpose, self-reported credit score range, and any other information you choose to share with us.
Financial information. If you become an Oak River client, we may collect or receive additional financial information needed to package and place your loan, including business tax returns, business bank statements, profit and loss statements, balance sheets, debt schedules, personal financial statements, and identification documents.
Automatically collected information. When you visit the Site, we may automatically collect technical information, including IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, time spent on pages, clickstream data, and similar information collected through cookies and similar technologies.
Information from third parties. We may receive information about you from lender partners, service providers, public records, credit reporting agencies (where you have authorized such inquiry), and other lawful sources to verify, augment, or supplement the information you provide.
3. How We Use Information
We use personal information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Site and Services;
- Evaluate your eligibility for capital placement, package your file for lender review, and present your file to lenders;
- Communicate with you about your inquiry, applications, and Services;
- Send you marketing communications about products and services that may interest you (you can opt out at any time);
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, security incidents, and abuse;
- Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests;
- Exercise or defend our legal rights, including in connection with disputes;
- Conduct internal research, analytics, and business operations.
5. Financial Information & GLBA Notice
Oak River Lending acts as a financial services provider in connection with capital placement. The federal Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act ("GLBA") requires financial institutions to explain their information-sharing practices to customers. The following summarizes our practices with respect to non-public personal information ("NPI"):
- Information we collect: NPI we collect includes application data, financial statements, tax returns, identification documents, and similar materials needed to evaluate and place your loan.
- Information we share: We share NPI with lender partners, service providers, and others as described in Section 4 of this Policy and as permitted by GLBA and applicable law.
- Your right to limit sharing: Federal law gives you the right to limit certain types of information sharing. State law may give you additional rights. We do not share NPI with non-affiliates for their own marketing purposes without your consent.
- Safeguarding: We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the security and confidentiality of NPI in accordance with the GLBA Safeguards Rule.
7. Analytics & Advertising
We use third-party analytics services, including Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics, to understand site usage. These services may collect information about your visit using cookies. Analytics services are only loaded after you provide consent through our cookie consent banner.
To opt out of Google Analytics across all sites, you can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
We may use marketing pixels (Meta, LinkedIn, Google Ads) for targeted advertising. These are loaded only with your consent.
8. Communications & TCPA Consent
By providing your phone number and submitting an inquiry form, you expressly consent to receive communications from Oak River Lending and its lending partners regarding your inquiry, including by phone calls, text messages, and email, including communications sent using an automatic telephone dialing system, artificial or prerecorded voice, or automated text messaging. Consent is not a condition of any service.
Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. You can opt out of marketing emails by clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
Even if you opt out of marketing communications, we may still send you transactional or service-related communications about your inquiries and our Services.

We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. We respect the Global Privacy Control signal.
Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws. Residents of these states have rights similar to those described above, including rights to access, correct, delete, port, and opt out of certain processing. Verification. Before fulfilling requests, we may need to verify your identity. Authorized agents may submit requests on your behalf if they provide signed written authorization.
Appeals. If we deny your privacy request, you may appeal by contacting us and we will respond in accordance with applicable law.
Nevada residents may opt out of the sale of personal information by contacting us.
11. Data Security
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These include encryption in transit, access controls, and secure development practices. No security measure is perfect, however, and we cannot guarantee that information will be free from unauthorized access or disclosure.
12. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Specific retention periods depend on the category of information and applicable law. Financial and tax records may be retained for several years after the conclusion of our services.
13. Children's Privacy
The Site and Services are intended for users who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 where applicable). If you believe we have collected personal information from a child, please contact us and we will take steps to delete the information.
14. International Users
Oak River Lending is based in the United States and our Services are directed to users in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States.
